![]() Unison would sync both the laptop directory and the departmental one so that both contained the most up to date copy of all the files. If you had used Unison to do the copying you wouldn't have this issue. You will need to go through both systems picking out the newest copy of each file and watching out for any files you changed in both locations. Then one day you remember you edited some files while you were away but you now cannot remember which files you edited on holiday on your laptop and which since returning on the departmental system. ![]() While on holiday you do some project work as planned When you return to your office in CMS you continue with your project, but with the files you have in the data space. You copy your project directory onto your laptop. You are going away and will be working on your project while on the beach without internet access.
